The lives of many in Rocky Mount and certainly the lives of everyone involved with The Black Light Project were have been forever changed by having met and engaged with Michael “Coach Mike” Wright. From his gravely voice, to his charming laugh and bountiful wisdom he changed the atmosphere in the room for the better.

Sadly, Coach Mike passed on October 12, 2020. We will cherish moment spent with him. Our deepest sympathies remain with his family and his beautiful wife, Connie, who attended every recording and every photo shoot with him.
