"You can't better yourself if you don't know the stuff around you."

Jakel, with a permanent grin on his face, laughs with boyish charm about getting on his mother's nerves a little bit as he went through some of the challenges facing most young boys. Curious, intelligent, and jovial, he admits that he struggled in school at one point. Not until he realized what it might cost him did he apply he love and thirst for knowledge so that he could enter Pitt Community College, where he is presently a student.
