Jurrell, 30
"I consider myself a renaissance man."
Jurrell is an all-around artist. A makeup artist, clothing designer, singer and talented painter, he is the owner of Jaisone-Q Designs. A graduate of Pitt Community College, he feels that the joy of his life is sharing his creativity with the world. Jurrell is easily identifiable with his floor-length jacket, crisp mohawk while toting his makeup toolkit and camera. He realizes he is not what people might consider to be the "norm" of Black males, but is proud to be who he is as a Black man.
"I am gearing my work more towards something...to be a representative of what it should look like or what it should be that black men are capable of doing."
